Huvudkaraktären i den här boken var verkligen en bitch i början. En karaktär som var väldigt svår att gilla till en början. Men vi får ta del utav en stor karaktärsutveckling, vilket alltid är något jag gillar, så det är ett stort plus i kanten. Fina vänskapsrelationer växer också fram. Boken var lagom nördig med sina referenser till Shakespears taming of the shrew.

Den här boken är baserad på nordisk mytologi, vilken är ett ämne jag alltid funnit ytterst intressant. Konceptet var därmed mycket tilltalande för mig, vilket resulterade i att jag plockade upp den här boken. Boken kändes dock väldigt långdragen och jag kom på mig själv med att flera gånger tänka att boken hade kunnat kortas ned rätt mycket. Detta då det var flertalet längre partier i boken där det inte hände speciellt mycket som förde handlingen framåt. Jag shippade karaktärerna Loki och Theo väldigt hårt. Lokis karaktärsutveckling var tydlig men jag önskar fortfarande att den var lite mer genomarbetad.

Inser återigen att jag inte är ett speciellt stort fan av böcker skrivna på vers. Men den här boken var snabbläst och intressant. Men det som drog ned betyget är det faktum att jag inte lyckades dras med i handlingen som till stora delar cirkulerade runt slam poetry.

Den här boken är baserad på verkliga händelser, vilket gör det hela ännu mer otroligt. Boken är skriven i samarbete med Stefanias son och är byggd på intervjuer och Stefanias opublicerade memoarer. Jag plockade upp den här boken en dag och fullkomligt bara slukade den! Jag var "at the edge of my seat" hela läsningen igenom. Vilket naturligtvis resulterade i att jag inte kunde lägga ifrån mig boken och det slutade med att jag läste klart den på en dag. Boken var oerhört spännande och snabbläst om man ville bara få reda på vad som komma skulle. Den här boken fick mig dessutom att fälla några tårar, vilket definitivt inte hör till vanligheten. I slutet av boken så får man som läsare också reda på vad som hände med alla involverade efteråt. Riktigt intressant läsning!

Den här boken var verkligen en bergochdalbana av känslor hela vägen igenom. Känslor så som ledsen, uppgiven osv. Jag gillade verkligen Jo och Lauries vänskap, de hade en så fin kamratskap och de förstod sig verkligen på varann. I den här boken så får vi också ta del utav flertalet karaktärsutvecklingar, vilket alltid är ett plus!

Man vet inte riktigt vad som komma skall i den här volymen och det blev en och annan spännande vändning i dessa volymer. Den här mangan var väldigt spännande och snabbläst. Jag tycker fortfarande att själva konceptet är gripande och intressant.

Den här boken liksom dess föregångare i serien är helt klart beroendeframkallande! Boken var väldigt snabbläst och spännande med en massa bra karaktärsutvecklingar och plot twists. Jag älskar karaktärerna lika mycket nu som i den första boken. Det var svårt att veta vad som komma skulle, vilket gjorde det till en så bra läsning! Ser fram emot att läsa bok 3!

Tyvärr så fick jag inte alls lika starka känslor för den här boken som dess föregångare i serien. Men med det sagt så är boken naturligtvis fortfarande väldigt spännande. Vi får ta del utav bra karaktärsutvecklingar också. Samt att det är en och annan väldigt intressant och spännande strid som äger rum i denna avslutande bok i serien.

Den här boken är lite av en askungen-retelling, vilket var väldigt roligt att läsa. Jag fortsätter att älska Bridgerton-familjen och hela dess familjedynamik. Det är en fin relation som växer fram mellan Benedict och Sophie även om de hamnar lite snett i början. Det var dessutom väldigt bra karaktärsutvecklingar, vilket är väldigt viktigt. I det stora hela så var det en mycket snabbläst och spännande historical romance.

Jag älskar fortfarande karaktärerna och familjedynamiken i denna boken. Vilket får mig att vilja läsa bok tre i serien med en gång! Den här boken var riktigt snabbläst och spännande. Jag gillar att det är mer till handlingen än själva relationen som växer fram mellan Anthony och Kate. Man får lära sig om karaktärernas bakgrunder och vad de har varit med om fram tills denna bok utspelar sig. Vi får också se stora karaktärsutvecklingar, vilket är något som jag verkligen uppskattar. Samt att det är fiender till älskare-tropen som jag älskar.

Den här boken var riktigt snabbläst och spännande. Jag älskade alla karaktärerna och den familjedynamik som är mellan alla Bridgerton. Läsningen blev riktigt beroendeframkallande, vilket gjorde att jag inte ville lägga ifrån mig boken när jag väl börjat läsa den. Historical romance har helt klart blivit en ny obsession för mig. Det jag gillade med den här boken är dels fiender till älskare-tropen och också fejk-dejtandet. Deras relation är inte heller perfekt utan det finns helt klart skavanker i den. Det jag inte gillade med den här boken är en viss scen där definitivt Daphnes handlingar bör ifrågasättas då det hon gör helt klart är fel, utnyttjande och till och med ännu värre (vill inte spoila). Men den scenen var jag inte alls okej med. Jag upplevde att de förskönade hela den scenen genom att bara skylla på att hon var förbannad. Men den scenen var inte alls okej. Det är något som helt klart påverkar slutbetyget på den här boken.

Den här boken är skriven på vers, vilket fortfarande inte är ett av mina favoritsätt att ta del av en bok. Men det gör ju i alla fall att boken blir väldigt snabbläst. Boken hade en spännande handling och koncept. Det var intressant att få ta del av de båda systrarnas tankar och känslor när de fick reda på den andres existens. En väl genomförd handling med andra ord.

Jag älskade verkligen karaktärernas banter i den här boken! Det var väldigt underhållande och roligt att läsa hur de lärde känna varandra. Det var dock väldigt lägligt att just dem två träffar varandra när dem gör det. Boken var extremt snabbläst och helt klart en beroendeframkallande läsning. Jag kommer definitivt att läsa mer böcker i den här serien och framför allt fler böcker från Tessa Dare.

Den här boken har för alltid förändrat min syn på läsning och vilka genrer jag gillar! Jag har nu insett att jag verkligen gillar romance-genren och framför allt historical romance. Jag älskade karaktärerna i den här boken och de båda huvudkaraktärerna hade båda två väldigt stora karaktärsutvecklingar. Det var intressant om läsa om kvinnorörelsen bluestockins som ville förbättra samhället för kvinnor. I det stora hela så var den här boken riktigt snabbläst och spännande. Jag ser verkligen fram emot att läsa bok 2!

Samtidigt som Evelyn berättar om skoningslös ambition, oväntad vänskap och en stor förbjuden kärlek, så börjar Monique känna ett djupt band till skådespelerskan. Men när deras vänskap djupnar inser Monique att det faktiskt finns en anledning till varför Evelyn valde just henne. Något som kan komma att krossa henne.

Mina åsikter

Det här är verkligen inte en genre jag i vanliga fall läser, men jag gillade den väldigt mycket. I vanliga fall är jag inte ett speciellt stort fan av böcker som innehåller flashbacks. Men Jenkins Reid gör det på ett väldigt bra sätt vilket gjorde att jag i det här fallet faktiskt älskade det. Konceptet var riktigt intressant och boken var välskriven vilket gjorde den mycket spännande och snabbläst. Det var många bra karaktärer med fina och fylliga karaktärsutvecklingar. Jag ville verkligen inte lägga ifrån mig boken när jag väl börjat läsa den. Jag förstår numera hypen för den här boken! Väldigt välförtjänt. Jag växlade mellan att läsa boken fysiskt och lyssna på ljudboken, ljudboken var också väldigt bra!

Den här boken var mycket bra och spännande läsning. Det jag inte riktigt gillade var dock det faktum att man inte alls fick se mycket utav Anne och Gilbert. Det var inte ens deras barn som var i fokus, utan snarare deras kompisar, Meredith-barnen. Jag hade gärna sett mer utav Anne och Gilbert, det var därför jag drog mig ifrån att plocka upp och börja läsa den här boken så länge. Men när jag väl plockade upp den så gillade jag den skarpt!

Den här boken hade ett intressant koncept, med ett känt band och allt som förekommer bakom kulisserna. Boken kändes verkligen som en biografi. Karaktärerna var allihop intressanta och säregna. Det gick väldigt fort för mig att läsa ut boken då det var så intressant att följa med alla på deras turné och vara med när dem skrev låtarna.

Jag gillade verkligen karaktärerna Chloe och Red. Jag gillade relationen som växte fram, det kändes väldigt naturligt. Chloe är kroniskt sjuk, vilket kändes som ett viktigt tillägg i boken. Kronisk sjukdom är något som Hibbert själv tampas med, vilket gör att boken är own voices, vilket alltid är intressant att läsa. Boken var väldigt snabbläst. Jag gillade familjerelationen mellan Chloe och hennes systrar och farmor/mormor. Jag ser fram emot att läsa bok två i den här serien, som ska följa en av de andra systrarna.

Den här boken var mycket spännande och händelsefull, jag spenderade stora delar av nyårsafton bara till att försöka läsa klart den här boken. Jag blev som besatt! Det här var en väldigt bra fortsättning på serien och det händer verkligen saker hela tiden. Man vet aldrig vad som komma skall! Ingen karaktär går säker! Känslomässigt så var den här boken som en enda lång bergochdalbana.

 

Det här var helt klart den bästa boken i serien såhär långt!. Sanderson är verkligen en mästare på att skriva karaktärsutvecklingar! Världsuppbyggnaden fortsätter att utvecklas och växa! Det gör det så lätt att som läsare skapa sina egna bilder allt eftersom att berättelsen fortsätter! Magisystemet fortsätter även det att växa! Jag läste den här boken på 11 dagar vilket definitivt tog upp mycket av min ledighet, men det var det helt klart värt!

Det här var en mycket spännande och snabbläst berättelse. Jag gillar Mina Limas tillägg med de olika interaktiva delarna. Det är alltid lika roligt när man kommit fram till en ny del och man får dra ut, snurra och skruva på saker. Den här jungelboken är helt klart mer brutal än versionen från Disney. Karaktären Mowgli är väldigt smart och påhittig, det gör boken mer intressant.

Den här boken hade ett väldigt intressant koncept. Jag gillar "deckarklubb"-känslan som man får utav den här boken. Boken var mycket snabbläst och intressant. Jag hade dock väldigt svårt för karaktären Daisy som ville ha rätt om absolut allting och hon klarade inte alls av att lyssna på vad andra människor hade att säga om saker och ting. Karaktären Hazel utsätts för rasism hela tiden, vilket var väldigt hemskt att läsa om. Detta då hon kommer från Hong Kong, vilket hennes klasskamrater har ett och annat att säga om. Var det verkligen en nödvändig del att ha med i boken? Jag förstår att det är en historical fiction- bok så det förekom säkert väldigt mycket rasism på internatskolorna på den tiden, men ändå. Det är ingenting som kommenteras att det är fel, utan det bara är så.

Det här är en bok som jag länge tänkt att jag ska läsa då jag har hört så mycket gott om den. Men den här boken levde tyvärr inte alls upp till mina förväntningar. Jag förstår inte alls hypen för den är boken. Det tog mig väldigt lång tid att läsa den här boken och när jag väl lagt ifrån mig den så ville jag inte alls plocka upp den igen. Konceptet var intressant, men genomförandet gjorde berättelsen väldigt långdragen och seg. Jag klarar alltså inte av att behålla mitt fokus på berättelsen någon längre stund varje gång jag läste den. Chris Ridell har gjort flertalet väldigt fina illustrationer till den upplagan jag läste!

Den här boken hade ett intressant koncept, men det var inte riktigt lika bra genomfört som jag hade önskat. Detta då jag blev lite uttråkad efter ett tag. Vissa saker var inte tillräckligt bra förklarat, vilket gjorde det svårare att bilda sig en egen bild av det som hände. Jag gillade karaktärerna och boken var i det stora hela någorlunda snabbläst.

Jag lyssnade på den här boken som ljudbok! Boken hade en väldigt bra uppläsare! Boken var väldigt spännane och intressant! Jag ville bara fortsätta lyssna för att få reda på vad som komma skulle. Precis som alltid när Sanderson är inblandad så hade den här boken en fantastisk världsuppbyggnad och fascinerande karaktärer. Det var många oförutsägbara twists and turns. Jag önskar bara att boken var längre! Jag hade velat ha mer och önskat att jag fått grotta ned mig ännu mer i världen och karaktärerna.
