Jag gillade bokens handling då delar utav den utspelar sig bland magiska böcker, det var häftigt. Har inte läst något liknande innan. Demonerna var också riktigt häftiga och man visste aldrig riktigt när de skulle dyka upp. Jag gillade också det faktum att boken är satt i en historisk setting. Jag gillade karaktärerna väldigt mycket! Tjänaren Silas var grym! Och fick mig återigen att tänka på et faktum att jag gillar karaktärer som inte är helt goda, utan att dem har onda sidor också. Boken var väldigt snabbläst och spännande, samt annorlunda jämfört med böcker som jag har läst tidigare.

Mina åsikter

Twitter-feuden huvudkaraktärerna var väldigt roliga, men jag upplevde ändå att boken kändes något för lång. Jag gillade verkligen alla karaktärerna och jag uppskattade den familjedynamik som Jack hade i sin familj. Weazel-appen var ett intressant tillägg i handlingen. Kändes väl dock lite smått otroligt att deras twitter-feud skulle å så himla mycket uppmärksamhet.

The show is a mess, internet rumors threaten to bring the wrath of two fandoms down on their heads, and to top it all off Nina's family is on the brink of some major upheaval.

Everything feels like it's spiraling out of control―but maybe control is overrated?

Jag älskar det faktum att Nina och hennes kompisar har en podcast, det gjorde handlingen väldigt intressant och annorlunda mot andra contemporary-böcker. Med tanke på hur många av Mills böcker jag äger och därtill även har läst så kommer det kanske inte som en chock att jag älskar hennes skrivsätt. Karaktärerna i den här boken var välskrivna och intressanta, samtidigt som dem var väldigt mänskliga, de hade alla sina problem och brister. Bokens slut kändes lite för otroligt för att kännas möjligt, samtidigt som det kändes typiskt Emma Mills-stil. I det stora hela så var jag fast i boken får första sidan och jag fullkomligt flög igenom den.

Mina favoritböcker som jag läste under 2021

Bästa boken 2021!!

Eftersom att jag har varit väldigt frånvarande såväl här på bloggen som på min booktube-kanal det här året så kommer den här listan väldigt sent i år. (försök med extremt sent ;P) Men bättre sent än aldrig som man brukar säga.

Jag hittade en ny favoritförfattare under 2021, vilket jag blev väldigt glad över. Som ni vet så

behöver en ny favoritförfattare inte nödvändigtvis innebära en ny auto-buy author, men det blev det alltså den här gången. Författaren jag pratar om är naturligtvis John Gwynne. Därav är det kanske inte förvånande att de fyra första böckerna på den här listan är skrivna av just honom. 

Böckerna tar inte pallplatserna i utgivningsordning utan det är faktiskt den fjärde boken som tar första platsen, första boken tar andra platsen osv.

I dagens video som var inspelad för ett tag sedan (ooops), berättar jag om alla de böcker som jag unhaulat den sista tiden. En del kanske var lite väntade med tanke på vad jag tyckte om dem när jag läste dem. Andra kanske är lite mer oväntade.
